MICHAEL BRAUND
Michael Braund is an Electrical and Controls Engineer with over forty years of experience in the Food and Nutritional industry. He has an extensive background in the automation and design of processing, filling and packaging systems for the manufacture of nutritional products. His skill-set includes considerable experience with Rockwell Automation PLC systems including programming MicroLogix, ControlLogix, CompactLogix, PLC2, and PLC5 controllers.
Michael’s manufacturing experience includes powder spray drying, storage and transporting, liquid processing including blending and homogenization of milk and soy based products, aseptic and non-aseptic filling/capping, labeling, conveying, case packing, inspection and coding, case palletizing and stretch wrapping.
A graduate of Youngstown State University with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering (1979), Michael has been a registered Professional Engineer since 1990.
Michael is an avid traveler and recently completed a lifelong goal of visiting all 7 continents that culminated with a trip to Antarctica in 2022.
