Archibald and Katherine 1937

Archibald and Katherine (Archer + Kit) were long-time friends of my grandparents and fixtures at nearly every family gathering. Throughout their 60+ years of marriage, laughter and kindness followed wherever they went. When someone needed a hand, Archer + Kit were always there to help. While there certainly were times when one (or both) would be leading the effort toward a solution, often their contribution was subtle - maybe a joke or a well-timed comment would be exactly what was needed to move past one hurdle and on to the next.

Though they’ve been gone for decades, our family still shares memories of Archer+Kit at the dinner table. When choosing a name for this company, it occurred to me that they embodied what I wanted my business to be - a calm, guiding presence to help (people) solve problems. And so the choice was obvious - it is with pride that our company bears their names.
